The product was utterly useless and even harmful! And when we tried to return it? Our emails were blatantly ignored. What kind of so-called health and care website operates like this? The love of God guards our heart and mind, it acts as a shield against any bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness that may try to creep into our hearts. His love reminds us of who we are - precious children of God, worth dying for!

In everyday life, this could mean taking a step back in moments of stress or anger, and instead of reacting impulsively, we can respond with love and forgiveness, reflecting the character of God.

In the words of Billy Graham, "God proved His love on the Cross. When Christ hung, and bled, and died, it was God saying to the world, 'I love you.'" This love, my friends, is the strongest armor we could ever hope for!❤️

It's not about bunnies 🐇 or chocolates 🍫. It's about something infinitely better. It's about Jesus.

Let's look at Romans 6:23, from the English Standard Version (ESV), "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

What an indescribably profound message! Jesus - God Himself - paid a price that we could never afford. He died for us, bearing the weight of our sins. And why? Because He loves us. His sacrifice was the epitome of love - a love so deep, so vast, that He willingly embraced death so that we might have life. But the story doesn't end there. He rose triumphant, conquering death, and is now alive in heaven, waiting for us.

This verse isn't just a story. It's a promise, a beacon of hope. When we feel burdened by our weaknesses, our failures, we must remember this verse. Jesus took our sins upon Himself so that we could have life. What greater comfort can there be?

Recently, me and the lads decided to get into shape. Reckoned it was about time we swapped our pints for protein shakes, you know? So, we trotted down to the local gym, heads held high, no fear in sight. Well, the only fear was of the showers but who can blame us, right? 🤣

Baz, our burliest mate, jumped on the treadmill, confident as a peacock he was. Not two minutes in, he starts winded, panting like an old bulldog. I told him, "Slow down, Baz mate, you're not running after a kebab van!" 🏃‍♂️😂

Meanwhile, Mick was on the weights, the massive ones, on his first day! He's lifting and grunting, face as red as a ripe tomato. After what seemed like an eternity, he dropped 'em. Not just the weights, mind, but his trousers as well! There he was, in all his glory, white boxers with red polka dots. I said, "Well, that's one way to lose weight, Mick!" 😆

Some girls walked by, trying to keep a straight face. But who was I kidding? They were laughing so hard, they had to hold each other up.

Despite all the mockery, we kept going, each of us a sweaty, huffing and puffing mess. We figured it couldn't possibly get worse. But, trust me, in Sheffield, it always gets worse.

Just as we were wrapping up, the power went out. Total darkness, no lights, nada. We heard a massive thud and someone yelling, "That's my foot, ya wally!" I couldn't help but chuckle, it was so still, you could hear a pin drop.

When the lights came back, we were surprised to see Mick, legs tangled in a skipping rope and Baz, well...still on the treadmill, but now sporting a black eye. How he got it, only the darkness knows. 😱

Now, if you're thinking this story's got a happy ending, you're dead wrong, mate. We never did lose weight, but we sure did lose our dignity and a good deal of self-respect. But hey, if you can't laugh at your own misfortune, what's the point, eh?

Got myself two pairs of similar slim fit, dark navy jeans in the sale at John Lewis. One pair was your typical Levi, while the other was from Lee Jeans. Now, you'd think the pricier Levi pair would be top-notch, right? Wrong!

Levi, what a let-down! 😩 The Levi's were such poor quality!!! They were so thin, baggy as clown trousers, and about as stylish as something you'd see an old person wearing going to the Bingo. 🙄

Contrast that with the Lee jeans I picked up. Cheaper, yes, but the quality was top-notch! They fit like a dream, sleek and sharp, like they were stitched just for me. 😎 I felt like a million quid wearing them, not like I was trying to squeeze into my old man's hand-me-downs.

Have you ever felt the cold, stony silence of an unwelcoming congregation? Have you ever been on the receiving end of disdainful gazes, simply for being a newcomer? Have you ever been denied the basic common decency we're all entitled to? I have. And let me tell you, it's enough to shatter the faith of even the most devout Christian.

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not here to accuse or to point fingers. But I am here to express my anguish, my disillusionment. How can we call ourselves followers of Christ when we refuse to follow his most basic commandment?

"Do to others what you want them to do to you,” the Good Book says in Matthew 7:12. Simple, isn't it? Yet, our churches are teeming with souls who would sooner behave like pagans than heed His Word.

How is it that we, the bearers of His Word, fail so spectacularly in basic human decency? Would Jesus ignore a newcomer to His flock? Of course not. So why do we?

My story, is not unique. It's the tale of many who've been left disheartened and disillusioned by the cold, unwelcoming embrace of the Church of England.

It's not right. It's not what Jesus would have wanted. It's not what He preached. And it's certainly not how we should treat each other.

So, what's the solution, you ask? It's simple. We need to behave like Christians. We need to welcome newcomers, to extend our hands in friendship, to be that beacon of light for those lost in the darkness.

We need to build genuine relationships, to truly connect with each other. And remember, it's the little things that count. A warm smile, a friendly nod, a helping hand - these are the things that make a church a haven.

And if you're still not convinced, remember this - "Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience," Colossians 3:12 admonishes us.

Well, Amazon are selling a wide range of health and personal care products that are below par, to say the least. These awful products could potentially put someone health at risk just so that they can make a profit.

You wouldn't believe the assortment of items they offer! Everything from beauty and personal care products to nutritional supplements to health monitoring devices. And where are these products coming from? Mostly unknown Chinese brands, untested and definitely not up to snuff with regulatory standards.

Does snake oil ring a bell? 🐍 This is the level of product we're dealing with here. Bogus health claims and all! What's worse, these items have the potential to exacerbate existing health conditions or injuries!

And as if that's not bad enough, despite these products being dirt-cheap to manufacture, the prices on this so-called marketplace are sky high! 😤 This is what happens when a marketplace has a monopoly. It takes full advantage of the situation, squeezing every last penny from vulnerable individuals in desperate need of relief.

It's infuriating! 😡 The greed of Amazon is appalling!

A couple of years back, a company I was privileged to work for suffered a cyber attack. Our site was hijacked and traffic was redirected to one of these deadly online drug dens. Having resolved the issue, our immediate reaction was, of course, to inform the authorities. Yet despite our efforts, nothing was done. This 'pharmacy', a purveyor of potentially lethal counterfeit medications, continues to operate, likely hacking other unsuspecting businesses and redirecting their visitors in the process - a crime in itself. 🚨💊

The stories we hear on the news are not just statistics, they are people. People who've fallen victim to these scammers. Our friends, our family, our colleagues... They could be any of us. 😰🌍

So, what can be done? The answer is simple: More. More regulation, more prosecution, more protection for the innocent and vulnerable. The government must step in and take strict action against these deadly online dens. If they continue to sit idle, are they not part of the problem?

So there I was, strutting my stuff, when BAM, my foot decides to hit the high note, and not in the good way. So, off to the podiatrist I go. Doc looks at me, all serious-like, and says, "You've got plantar fasciitis."

Now, I'm no cheap skate, but when the doc whipped out these fancy orthotic insoles with a price tag that would make your head spin, I thought, "Nuh-uh, I'm not falling for that." So, I decided to play smart and look for an affordable alternative. Oh boy, was I wrong!

So, I found this random place online that promised the moon and the stars and got tricked into buying a pair from them, but lemme tell you, their insoles turned out to be total CRAP!

These insoles, oh Lord, they pushed my foot into some weird, twisted position that would have Cirque du Soleil jealous. A few outings later, I was ready to sell my soul for some relief. My foot pain was worse than ever! I mean, who freaking does that, right?

Back to the doc I go, tail between my legs, and all he says is - "Told you so." I mean, the nerve of the man! But, he had a point. I probably set myself back a few months because I tried to save a few bucks.

So, here's the thing, these so-called "health shops" are nothing more than scam artists, preying on desperate people like us! They couldn't care less about our pain, all they see is dollar signs.

Oh, bloody 'ell, here we go again. Me fingers feelin' like they've been left in a freezer overnight and me, shivering like a wet dog in the bloody cold. Winter's here, and with it comes that bloody nuisance, Raynaud's disease!

😖😡 It's like a game of Russian roulette, every year. You'd think I'd be used to it by now, but I ain't. Every bloody winter, it's the same old story - I think I've dodged the bullet, but then the bitter cold slaps me right in the face, and I'm stuck indoors, too scared to venture out, fearing the gnawing pain in me fingers.

😤 I've tried every bloody thing to keep Raynaud's at bay, you wouldn't believe it! Fancy silver gloves that cost an arm and a leg, mind you! I ranted about them in me previous post, remember? They ain't worth a toss.

After a lot of hullabaloo, I've finally found something that does the job - compression gloves from Reviatfit. They ain't no miracle workers, mind you, but they do a decent job of keeping the circulation going in me hands and fingers. 🤲💪

The gloves ain't perfect, mind you. I still get episodes, but at least now, the bloody disease is more manageable and a bit more under control. Still, every time the temperature dips down really low, I can't help but fear the worst. 😳😬

Alright then, I arrived at work and what do I see? A new bloke with a head the size of a blumin' watermelon! 🍉 I couldn't help but burst out laughing, but then I felt real bad because the new fella was one of the nicest people I've ever met. 😔

Just as I was trying to compose myself, our boss walks in and as soon as he sees the giant head, he lets out an "Oh my!" and walks out sniggering. 😂 I tell you what, it's not like the new guy can help being born with such a massive noggin, is it? It's not like he can just pop down to the head shrinking clinic and get it sorted out. 🤷‍♂️

But I'll tell you what, next time I'll stick up for the poor lad. I'll shout out, "Hey, you! Not everyone was born with a regular shaped head, you know!" 💪 Of course, that'll probably just make things worse, but I reckon it's worth a try.

Now then, gather round, sit thee sen down and I'll tell thee about the time I was sick on a fat lass on a rollercoaster. It were a sunny day by t' seaside, and me and me mates decided to go to a theme park. I'd never been on a rollercoaster before, but me mates were on at me all day to go on it. I'd heard on t' news about the time when everyone got their legs chopped off after one crashed, so I weren't too keen. 🤭

Anyway, before we went on, I decided to have a little snack. I ate five donuts, a milkshake, some crab sticks and fish and chips. I was so full but didn't think anything of it at the time. We get on the ride, and there were all sorts of weirdos getting on too - there was a lad with a mullet, a woman with a parrot on her shoulder, and a fat girl who were sat in front of me.

Now, let me tell thee, that ride were fast. It made me feel dizzy and I hated every second of it. As we got off, I started to feel sick. I tried to keep it down, but it were no use. I puked all over the fat girl sat in front, right on top of her head. She weren't too pleased, let me tell thee. She slapped me right in the face, and I couldn't blame her. That were the last time I ever went on a rollercoaster. 😝

Alright, listen up ya lot, I've got a story to tell ya. It's about a cat, a bee, and a bloke who felt like a right tit. So, there I was, minding my own business, when a humongous bee comes buzzing by. Now, I'm not one to shy away from a challenge, but this bee was bigger than my ego after a few pints. So, I did what any sane person would do and ran away like a scaredy-cat. 😅

And speaking of cats, one just rolled its eyes at me. I swear, this feline had some serious attitude. It looked at me like I was a right prat for running away from a bee. Can you believe it? A bloody cat judging me. I mean, what have cats got to be so high and mighty about? They just lay around all day, licking their own arses and refusing to come when you call them. They're such bitches. 🙄

But, let's not forget about their other lovely habits. Like coughing up fur balls all over your new rug or jumping up trying to eat flies like they're some sort of ninja warrior. Honestly, I don't know how they manage to survive in the wild. Probably because they've got nine lives, the lucky sods.

Anyway, back to the story. So, there I was feeling like a right wazzock, when yet another cat comes along and gives me the stink eye. I swear, if it could talk, it would have said something like "you're a right numpty, mate". And you know what? It's probably right. But, at least I don't have to lick my own bum to stay clean.

Just listened to Jeremy Hunt's budget and it is a complete and utter sham, I can't help but wonder if he's living in some alternate universe where fake jobs and punishing the vulnerable are the keys to economic success. Apprenticeships for over 50's? Seriously? Apprenticeships don't even work for young people, so why on earth does he think they will work for older people? It's a complete and utter sham.

People want real jobs, not fake ones that don't even pay a the minimum wage. And yet, here we are, with the chancellor proposing apprenticeships for the over 50's, as if that's going to solve our economic woes. It's ridiculous, and it's insulting to young people who struggle to get a job or onto the property ladder.

But that's not even the worst of it. No, the real travesty is that the chancellor wants to make job centres even stricter, sanctioning more disabled people and making it even harder to claim benefits. It's cruel, it's heartless, and it's typical Tory nonsense. The fact that he expects ill or disabled people to work is beyond comprehension. How can he be so callous?

It's time for the Tories to wake up and smell the coffee. If they really want to help the economy, why don't they target the tax avoiding companies like Google and Amazon that are bleeding our economy dry?
