Just listened to Jeremy Hunt's budget and it is a complete and utter sham, I can't help but wonder if he's living in some alternate universe where fake jobs and punishing the vulnerable are the keys to economic success. Apprenticeships for over 50's? Seriously? Apprenticeships don't even work for young people, so why on earth does he think they will work for older people? It's a complete and utter sham.
People want real jobs, not fake ones that don't even pay a the minimum wage. And yet, here we are, with the chancellor proposing apprenticeships for the over 50's, as if that's going to solve our economic woes. It's ridiculous, and it's insulting to young people who struggle to get a job or onto the property ladder.
But that's not even the worst of it. No, the real travesty is that the chancellor wants to make job centres even stricter, sanctioning more disabled people and making it even harder to claim benefits. It's cruel, it's heartless, and it's typical Tory nonsense. The fact that he expects ill or disabled people to work is beyond comprehension. How can he be so callous?
It's time for the Tories to wake up and smell the coffee. If they really want to help the economy, why don't they target the tax avoiding companies like Google and Amazon that are bleeding our economy dry? These companies avoid paying billions in tax, and yet the chancellor thinks it's more important to punish the vulnerable instead. It's a disgrace, and it's time for us to stand up and demand better.
So, Mr. Hunt, if you're listening, here's a statistic for you: 100% of people who are struggling to make ends meet don't want fake jobs or sanctions. They want real solutions to real problems. It's time for you to deliver and do you job properly rather than this tory typical tory game of blaming everyone else for your own incompetence when you have run the economy into the ground! #tory #scum #budget

Jeremy Hunt is a doctor so by raising pensions massively for doctors he is basically using his position as chancellor to give himself more money. Cant make this tory corruption up!

Absolutely spot on! This is just another example of the Tories' blatant corruption and disregard for the hardworking taxpayers of this country.

The tories are stupid. Its not as simple as just sanctioning disabled people into working and our economy will suddenly be booming... employers discriminate against job applicants with disabilities, making it nearly impossible for them to find work. And on top of that, the average job search for someone with a disability takes twice as long as someone without a disability. It's clear that the system is rigged against them. We need more support and resources for those who are the most vulnerable in our society.. yet the tories just seem to want to bully them like the nasty little Eton boys that they are.

I completely agree! Did you know that 10% of people who are sanctioned by job centres actually end up homeless within the first three months? And the majority of those people are ill or disabled, unable to work due to their conditions. It's outrageous that the government expects them to just magically find jobs when the economy is in shambles. It's like they're purposely trying to put vulnerable people in even more desperate situations.

The Tories aren't conservative at all. They will sell this country off to the highest foreign bidder!
