Our focus today is on Ephesians 6:10-11, which reads, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil." (English Standard Version)

Isn't it wonderful to know that we're not left unarmed in the face of the adversary? Our loving Father has provided us with an armor - His own!

Putting God first means acknowledging His power, His might, and His love. It means understanding that whenever we're faced with adversities or challenges, we do not stand alone. We are equipped with the strength of His might! The Bible is clear that we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. So, standing firm with God's armor is the key to our victory. 🗝️

But how does God's love act as our armor? You may be asking. Well, let me tell you. The love of God guards our heart and mind, it acts as a shield against any bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness that may try to creep into our hearts. His love reminds us of who we are - precious children of God, worth dying for!

In everyday life, this could mean taking a step back in moments of stress or anger, and instead of reacting impulsively, we can respond with love and forgiveness, reflecting the character of God.

In the words of Billy Graham, "God proved His love on the Cross. When Christ hung, and bled, and died, it was God saying to the world, 'I love you.'" This love, my friends, is the strongest armor we could ever hope for!❤️

Let's pray,

"Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for your unfailing love that protects us. Help us to always put you first in our lives. Guide us in every decision and remind us to put on the full armor of God daily. Thank you for your strength and protection against any harm. In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen."
