"In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33, English Standard Version)

Jesus spoke these words to His disciples, preparing them for the trials they would face after His departure.

This verse acknowledges the reality of suffering and injustice in the world. It reminds us that while we might face adversity, we have hope because Jesus has overcome the world.

In our own lives, when we face injustice or hardship, we can find comfort in Jesus' victory. We should not lose heart, but continue to trust in Him, knowing that He is with us, and He has already overcome the world.

Prayer: Dear God, in our tribulations, remind us that you have overcome the world. Grant us the strength and courage to face our trials with faith in your victory. Amen.
