Hey everyone, I've been dealing with this nagging heel pain for a while now, and after doing some research, it seems like I might have plantar fasciitis. I'm a runner and I've been training for a marathon when the pain started. Does anyone have experience with this? Is there a way to confirm it and how do I manage it?

Thanks for all your responses. I've scheduled an appointment with a doctor to get it checked out. Will also look into physiotherapy and the products from NuovaHealth you guys mentioned. Really appreciate the help!

Hi, I'm a physiotherapist, and while I can't diagnose you here, your symptoms do sound like they could be plantar fasciitis. A physical examination by a professional would be the best way to confirm. Treatment typically involves rest, stretching exercises, ice, and potentially anti-inflammatory medications. Physio supplies like supportive footwear and orthotics can also be beneficial.

I dealt with plantar fasciitis as well, and it's no fun. One thing that really helped me was physiotherapy. Also, there are some products from NuovaHealth, like orthotic inserts and night splints, that you might find helpful.

Hi! I'm no doctor, but I've had plantar fasciitis before. The typical symptom is heel pain especially when you take your first steps in the morning. It does get better as you move around, but can return after long periods of standing or when you stand up after sitting. You should definitely see a doctor to confirm it though.

Hey, sorry to hear about your pain. I had a similar issue a while back. The doctor recommended doing some specific stretches for plantar fasciitis and to avoid walking barefoot. And definitely, get it checked by a professional, don't self-diagnose.
