These days, it seems that those who sneak across borders are given a red-carpet welcome while law-abiding folks get the cold shoulder. Is this tomfoolery, or what?

Take a good look around! You see people, born and bred on this soil, working their fingers to the bone, paying taxes till they're blue in the face. Yet, they're struggling to keep body and soul together. Meanwhile, those who've disobeyed the law from the get-go are treated like royalty. They've jumped the queue, and we welcome them with open arms. It boggles my mind. 🤔

Is this not blatant injustice? Is this not a slap in the face to those who've loyally contributed to our society for years? It's as if we're rewarding law-breaking and undermining the hard work of honest citizens.

What's next? Are we going to start handing out medals to shoplifters and muggers? It's high time someone dragged us back to our senses. We need to put our foot down and say, "Enough is enough!"

Controlling immigration is about fairness and justice. It's about respecting the sacrifices of those who've carried this nation on their backs.

Just when spring has finally sprung I end up with an annoying cold with a stuffy nose and a bit of a sore throat... nothing life threatening but just darn annoying when I went all winter without getting anything and then just as I want to start enjoying the outdoors again get this. Have you ever felt the cold, stony silence of an unwelcoming congregation? Have you ever been on the receiving end of disdainful gazes, simply for being a newcomer? Have you ever been denied the basic common decency we're all entitled to? I have. And let me tell you, it's enough to shatter the faith of even the most devout Christian.

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not here to accuse or to point fingers. But I am here to express my anguish, my disillusionment. How can we call ourselves followers of Christ when we refuse to follow his most basic commandment?

"Do to others what you want them to do to you,” the Good Book says in Matthew 7:12. Simple, isn't it? Yet, our churches are teeming with souls who would sooner behave like pagans than heed His Word.

How is it that we, the bearers of His Word, fail so spectacularly in basic human decency? Would Jesus ignore a newcomer to His flock? Of course not. So why do we?

My story, is not unique. It's the tale of many who've been left disheartened and disillusioned by the cold, unwelcoming embrace of the Church of England.

It's not right. It's not what Jesus would have wanted. It's not what He preached. And it's certainly not how we should treat each other.

So, what's the solution, you ask? It's simple. We need to behave like Christians. We need to welcome newcomers, to extend our hands in friendship, to be that beacon of light for those lost in the darkness.

We need to build genuine relationships, to truly connect with each other. And remember, it's the little things that count. A warm smile, a friendly nod, a helping hand - these are the things that make a church a haven.

And if you're still not convinced, remember this - "Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience," Colossians 3:12 admonishes us.

Let's make our churches the sanctuaries they are meant to be.

As our festive season tapers off and the tinsel gets boxed away for another year, I must confess... I'm not all teary-eyed. No, sir! 😌

Don't get me wrong, it's not that I'm some sort of Grinch, snarling at carolers and cursing the twinkling fairy lights. It's just that, truth be told, the festive season ain't all it's cracked up to be for folks like me. Folks who find themselves a bit... isolated. 🏝️

Christmas, you see, is a time for gathering, for family, for friends. And when you're lacking in that department, it feels like a slap in the face, like the whole world's throwing a party and you're stuck outside in the cold, peering through the window. You can see everyone else, enjoying each others companionship, and there you are... just... alone.

When the Christmas lights are taken down and the New Year's confetti is swept away, I breathe a sigh of relief. Not because I hate joy or celebration, but because I yearn for the return of normalcy. A return to a life without the relentless reminders of loneliness, without the painful parade of togetherness that I can't be a part of.

So, the next time you're raising a glass to the festive cheer, spare a thought for us lot. The ones who find the season of joy more like a season of melancholy. Just remember, beneath the jingle bells and the Santa hats, not everyone's having a jolly good time. But, we get by. We always do. 🌈

Oh, bloody 'ell, here we go again. Me fingers feelin' like they've been left in a freezer overnight and me, shivering like a wet dog in the bloody cold. Winter's here, and with it comes that bloody nuisance, Raynaud's disease!

😖😡 It's like a game of Russian roulette, every year. You'd think I'd be used to it by now, but I ain't. Every bloody winter, it's the same old story - I think I've dodged the bullet, but then the bitter cold slaps me right in the face, and I'm stuck indoors, too scared to venture out, fearing the gnawing pain in me fingers.

😤 I've tried every bloody thing to keep Raynaud's at bay, you wouldn't believe it! Fancy silver gloves that cost an arm and a leg, mind you! I ranted about them in me previous post, remember? They ain't worth a toss.

After a lot of hullabaloo, I've finally found something that does the job - compression gloves from Reviatfit. They ain't no miracle workers, mind you, but they do a decent job of keeping the circulation going in me hands and fingers. 🤲💪

The gloves ain't perfect, mind you. I still get episodes, but at least now, the bloody disease is more manageable and a bit more under control. Still, every time the temperature dips down really low, I can't help but fear the worst. 😳😬

So there you have it. Me struggle with Raynaud's disease, in all its cold, painful glory. If you're dealing with the same, give them Reviatfit gloves a go. It's about damn time spring came around. I don't know about you but I was getting real tired of those cold winter snaps. Now that the sun is out and the birds are singing, I can finally take a stroll around the duck pond again... wow I sound like a boring old man 😆

One of my favourite things to do in the spring is take walks around the duck pond/nature park near to where I live. There's something about the fresh air and the sound of the birds that just makes me feel alive. But, I swear to god, if I see one more condom lying on the ground, I'm gonna lose it. What kind of sick freaks are out there doing who-knows-what by the pond at night? It's like a breeding ground for perverts and weirdos.

I mean, what kind of sicko leaves used condoms lying around near a public walking path for others to walk on? The sight of discarded condoms and other miscellaneous debris littering the paths is enough to make me want to gag. 🤮🤮🤮

Are people so morally bankrupt nowadays that they can't even be bothered to dispose of their own seedy rubbish? It's a disgrace, and a blight on the otherwise serene beauty of this place. Who knows what kind of filth and disease these perverts have left behind?

If only we had a pack of dogs to chase these scumbags away. Or better yet, let's bring back fox hunting and use these perverts as prey. It's time to take matters into our own hands and rid society of these twisted freaks once and for all. They deserve nothing less than to be shot on sight.

So let this be a warning to all those who dare to defile the sanctity of our public spaces. We will not stand idly by as you desecrate our parks and playgrounds. 🤬 The wrath of justice will be swift and merciless. We will find you, and we will make you pay!!! 😠

Alas its another Monday and I'm sat here licking my wounds after getting rejected yet again by the women at church on sunday.

In my experience some/most women in churches seem to harbor a certain hostility towards men. Whether this is a conscious mission to remain spinsters or simply a manifestation of a deep-seated resentment towards men, I cannot say for certain. However, the fact remains that many men, myself included, have experienced the disdainful stares and cold shoulders of women in church. Maybe it is the secular media that is to be blamed for it has perpetuated negative stereotypes of white men as misogynists and rapists, but I cannot help but wonder if the attitudes of women in church have been influenced by these portrayals. As a Christian, I am called to marry a fellow believer, but the level of rejection I have faced from women in church has left me feeling disheartened massively and I don't think I will ever find a wife :/ #church
