“Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart, who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways!” - Psalms 119:2-3 (ESV).

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, oftentimes we look around our churches and become disheartened when we see others falling short of God's standards. We question the sincerity of their faith or their commitment to Christian values.

None of us are perfect 🙏. The church is a gathering of people, and people, by nature, are flawed. We all fall short of the glory of God. But He, in His infinite mercy and love, sent His son Jesus Christ to redeem us. Even after accepting Christ, we don't suddenly become perfect. It's a journey, a process of sanctification that continues throughout our life on earth.

When you feel ignored or shunned in the church, remind yourself that this is not an indication of God's love for you, but rather a reflection of our imperfect nature. This is not what God wants. He wants us to love Him with all our heart and to love our neighbors as ourselves.

Remember, in a world that often falls short, God never does. His love is steadfast, His promises are true and He will never let you down. Let this truth inspire you to persevere, to keep to God's commandments, and to continually strive to love as He loves us.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we acknowledge our imperfections and praise You for Your perfect love that covers our multitude of sins. Help us to not become disillusioned, but rather inspire us to love more like You. Remind us that our worth is not defined by the actions of others, but by Your incredible love for us. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Stay encouraged, dear friends. God is at work, even when people let you down. Remember, He is perfect, He is love, and He is always with you. ❤️
