More I hear about AI the more concerned I am getting about it. I mean, we all know how ruthless and greedy companies like Google and Microsoft can be. Do we really want to put our livelihoods in the hands of these people? Will robots really take all of our jobs? I don't want to be left without a job because some robot can do it better than me.

I hope you guys are right. It's just hard to trust these companies when they've proven time and time again that they're only interested in making money. I don't want to be left without a job because some robot can do it better than me. It's not just about the money either; it's about the sense of purpose that comes from having a job. 😐

I have to agree with both of you. I mean, these companies are evil, but they're not invincible. We've seen new technology come along and knock out evil, greedy companies before. Remember MySpace? And Blockbuster? They were both huge, but they couldn't keep up with the times. I think we'll see more and better ethical AI companies emerge and surpass Google and Microsoft. So, let's not worry too much about being replaced by their evil creations just yet.

I completely understand your concerns, but I think you're giving these companies too much credit. Google's AI system BARD is actually a complete and utter failure. They may be ahead in the search engine world but they are mile behind in AI. And Microsoft just invests in every start-up they can get their hands on. They just happened to get lucky with OpenAI. Microsoft itself has done very little innovation in a long time. So, I don't think we should be worried about these companies taking over as their will be more AI companies coming along soon that hopefully wont be as evil... they cannot be or else nobody will use them.😁
