In Romans 10:9 (English Standard Version), we read, "Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Salvation, as you can read from this verse, is not a result of religious rituals, good deeds, or intellectual understanding. Salvation comes from a heartfelt belief in the Lordship of Jesus Christ, His death, and His resurrection. It's about having a deep-seated faith that Jesus is who He claims to be, and that His resurrection was a real event with spiritual significance.

This verse provides a source of strength and hope in our day-to-day lives. No matter what trials we may face, we know that our salvation is assured, thanks to our faith in Jesus. Our sins are forgiven, and we are promised a glorious future in heaven.

Prayer: Dear Lord, we confess that Jesus is our Lord, and we believe in our hearts that You raised Him from the dead. We thank You for the salvation that this belief grants us. Help us to hold onto our faith during trying times, and to share it with others. Amen.
